SARS-CoV-2 Antibody or Covid19 Antibody

For Asymptomatic patients (at least 7 days after your symptoms resolved) Prior to blood draw you will need a consultation with our Doctor. Turn around time is 3 to 5 days.

Laboratory On-site Care

To help with diagnosing and treating illnesses during your visit to Pronto, we offer laboratory services, intravenous fluids (IVs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs) – if deemed necessary by our medical team.

Laboratory Testing

If your provider needs labs or blood work to help confirm your diagnosis, we can do labs on site and send blood work and cultures to our partners so you can get answers sooner.

TB Testing

We can check for TB with a quick skin test on site. Sometimes, TB can be present in the body without causing people to feel sick or showing symptoms. That’s why the CDC recommends testing for people who:

- Have spent time with someone who has TB.
- Have medical problems that weaken the immune system.
- Are from a country where TB is common (most countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Russia).
- Live or work somewhere in the U.S. where TB is more common (homeless shelters, prisons).
- Use illegal drugs.

Most common labs on-site:

  • Strep tests
  • Flu tests
  • Monospot
  • Urinalysis
  • Urine pregnancy
  • Fingerstick glucose
  • Fecal occult blood
  • We also do STD testing

Travel Medicine & Vaccinations

If you are travelling internationally, some vaccines may be required depending upon the country you are visiting. Pronto Urgent Care offers the best pre- and post-travel care for patients.

Before Your Travel:

Please schedule an appointment at least 21 days ahead of your travel date. We offer patients consultations and advise on the vaccinations needed for travel. The physician will review your medical history and inform you about the side effects of the vaccines.

Insurance Coverage:

Although we currently accept many insurance plans, we advise patients to call your insurance carrier to clarify that preventative counseling and/or pre-travel immunizations are covered. We also see "self-pay" individuals and our prices are most competitive.

Vaccinations are very important:

Although vaccine-preventable disease case levels decreased significantly over the last 40 years, this does not mean diseases have disappeared from North America. Recently, we have seen outbreaks of diseases that many thought had been eliminated on this continent and have shown that vaccination is still important for public and personal health.

Due to a wide variety of factors, many individuals have not received important vaccinations that would protect them from potentially deadly or debilitating diseases such as meningitis, whooping cough and shingles. Pronto Urgent Care's goal is to ensure that everyone, not just travelers, are vaccinated against these dangerous diseases.

We Offer the following:

  • Flu Shots
  • Hepatitis B
  • Meningitis
  • Vitamin B12 Shots for your immune system Boost
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDAP)
  • Tetanus Diptheria (Td)
  • Tuberculosis (TB)
  • TB skin test

In an effort to help educate the public on the importance of these immunizations and when they should receive them, the Centers for Disease Control has created vaccination schedules for various groups.

What is PIP?

Injured from a car, motorcycle, or a boat accident?

Personal Injury Protection(PIP) is an extension of car insurance that covers medical expenses. It is often called "no fault" coverage because its inherent comprehensiveness pays out claims regardless of who is at fault in an accident. Here in the state of Florida drivers are required by law to carry minimum of $10,000 in PIP coverage. If you have a car insurance policy in effect at the time of the accident you should have $10,000 or more available in benefits to use for medical expenses you incur following an accident.

Your Time Is Limited!

In the state of Florida there are only 14 days to seek initial treatment in relation to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. If treatment is initiated after the two weeks, the patient forfeits their rights to full PIP benefits that could be applied to medical care.

PHARMACOGENETICS (PGX)

"Unlock the power of precision medicine with our
pharmacogenetics test"
Personalized Treatment
Pharmacogenetics allows healthcare providers to tailor drug therapies to an individual's genetic profile.
Reduced Adverse Effects
Healthcare providers can identify drugs that may be more or less likely to cause adverse effects in that individual.
Cost Savings
By avoiding ineffective medications and reducing adverse events, pharmacogenetics can potentially lower healthcare costs by preventing unnecessary hospitalizations, treatments, and medication changes.
Optimized Drug Dosing
Pharmacogenetic testing can assist in determining the optimal dosage of a medication for a specific patient based on their genetic characteristics. This can help avoid under-dosing or overdosing.
Improved Drug Selection
Some individuals may have genetic variations that make them less responsive to certain drugs or more susceptible to drug or more susceptible to drug interaction. Pharmacogenetics can guide healthcare providers in selecting alternative medications that are a better fit for the
Sample
With just a simple buccal swab we have the capability to do the test.

Why NGS Testing?

NGS testing can identify genetic mutations associated with various diseases, allowing for early detection and intervention
Personalized treatment plans
NGS testing can provide valuable information about an individual's genetic makeup, allowing healthcare providers to develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific genetic profile.
Risk assessment and prevention
NGS testing can assess an individual's risk of developing certain diseases based on their genetic predisposition. This information can be used to implement preventive measures and lifestyle modifications to reduce the risk of disease development.
Family screening and counseling
NGS testing can identify genetic mutations that may be inherited within families. This information can be used for family screening and counseling.
Research and advancements
NGS testing generates a vast amount of genetic data, this can lead to a better understanding of the genetic basis of diseases and the development of new treatment strategies.
Cost-effectiveness
It can provide comprehensive genetic information in a single test, eliminating the need for multiple tests and reducing healthcare costs.
Improved patient outcomes
By identifying genetic mutations and tailoring treatment plans accordingly, NGS testing can potentially improve patient outcomes by providing more targeted and effective therapies. This can lead to better disease management, reduced complications, and improved quality of life for patients.
